Role Summary:

Looking for a skilled professional with expertise in monitoring and administering IBM AIX and SUSE Linux operating systems. Proficient in monitoring IBM storage and server hardware, including x86 and Power servers. Experienced in IBM SAN switch administration and VMware infrastructure management. Capable of administering Veritas NetBackup and tape library systems. Responsible for ticket resolution and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and administration of IBM AIX OS.
• IBM storage monitoring and administration.
• Monitoring IBM x86 and IBM Power server hardware.
• IBM SAN switch administration.
• VMware infrastructure management.
• Administration of Veritas NetBackup and tape library systems.
• Administration of Fortigate Firewall.
• Administration of SUSE Linux OS.
• Monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS), including Precision AC, UPS, fire and smoke detection, and suppression systems.
• Vendor management capability, including ticket registration and follow-ups with vendors until resolution.

Qualification:

• 2 to 5 years of similar experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be MCSE or RHCE certified.
