Life at Inspirisys

As someone who interacts with new joiners, what’s your approach to making them feel welcome from day one?
I think the key to making new joiners feel at ease is providing them with a warm, personal introduction to the company. I start by sharing insights into our culture and values, so they understand what makes us unique. To make them feel even more welcomed, I ensure they receive a personalized welcome email, letting them know we’re excited to have them on board. On their first day, I always introduce them to their team, creating an immediate sense of belonging and making sure they know where to turn for support.
What are the main responsibilities of your role?
As an HR executive in Talent Acquisition, my primary responsibility is to manage the onboarding process for new employees. I ensure all necessary documents are collected, verified, and properly filed. In addition to onboarding, I play a role in supporting employee engagement initiatives, such as coordinating team-building activities, fun competitions, tournaments, etc. These efforts are essential in creating a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued, connected, and motivated to contribute their best.
Do you believe employee engagement activities play a crucial role in creating a positive workplace culture?
Absolutely! Employee engagement activities are essential in shaping a positive culture. When employees can balance their work and personal lives better, it naturally boosts morale and job satisfaction. These activities also create opportunities for recognition, where employees feel truly appreciated for their work. Open communication is another huge benefit, as these activities provide a platform for everyone to connect, share, and feel heard. Most importantly, these activities encourage relationship-building, helping to create a more supportive and collaborative environment that drives success.
How would you describe your team, and what do you think is their best quality?
Our team is all about creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported. We take pride in being proactive and ensuring that employees have what they need to succeed. I’d say our best quality is the way we back each other up. We’re always there to lend a hand or offer support when needed, and that sense of unity is what makes us so effective. It’s the teamwork and trust that really drive our success.
Personal Reflections

What inspired you to pursue a career in HR?
I’ve always been the type of person who enjoys being around people and connecting with them. Whether it’s having a conversation or helping someone with a problem, I’ve always found fulfillment in those interactions. When I thought about a career, HR seemed like a natural fit because it’s all about supporting people and helping them feel comfortable and valued at work. It’s not just about policies or procedures—it's about understanding people’s needs and being there to make sure they have a positive experience at work. That’s what ultimately drew me to HR.
What skills or qualities have you developed at work, since your joining?
Since joining, I’ve had the opportunity to enhance my communication skills, which has helped me build stronger connections with colleagues, new joiners, and management. I’ve also gained a better understanding of how various functions work together and how my role fits into the broader picture. Additionally, I’ve become more flexible, quickly adapting to changes and staying calm under pressure.
Is there a particular moment or experience at Inspirisys that stands out?
One experience that stands out at Inspirisys was receiving recognition from both the corporate head and the HR head for taking on a significant responsibility. Despite being new to the organization, being entrusted with such an important task made the recognition all the more rewarding. It was truly fulfilling to see my contributions acknowledged so early in my journey, and it reinforced the trust the organization places in its employees.
How do you see yourself evolving in your career in the next few years at Inspirisys?
In the next few years, I see myself in a role where I can contribute to refining and implementing policies and procedures that help employees work more effectively and feel supported. I want to be involved in making processes smoother, ensuring that they align with both company goals and employee needs. As I progress, I’d like to take on more leadership responsibilities, where I can influence strategies that improve the overall work experience and create opportunities for everyone to grow.
Life Outside the Lines

What do you enjoy doing in your free time to unwind and recharge?
In my free time, I love catching up with friends, whether it's grabbing a meal, exploring new spots, or simply enjoying each other's company. I also have a deep passion for gaming—it's more than just a hobby for me. I’ve built a collection of consoles from various generations, allowing me to experience both classic games and the latest releases. It’s fascinating to see how gaming has evolved over the years, and I always look forward to experiencing the next big thing in the gaming world.
What activities or hobbies do you enjoy most outside of work? (Sports, travel, etc.)
I’m really passionate about sports, especially Kabaddi, Cricket, and Volleyball. Kabaddi holds a special place in my heart—it’s not just something I watch, but something I’ve actively been a part of. I was the captain of my college Kabaddi team during my undergrad, and the experience of leading the team taught me so much about strategy, teamwork, and perseverance. Whether I’m playing or cheering from the sidelines, sports always keep me energized and connected with others.
If you could pursue any other career, what would it be?
Growing up with my father, who’s a television technician, I developed a strong understanding of electronics from a young age. Building on that foundation, I took the opportunity to enhance my skills after the lockdown by learning mobile phone repair and gaining detailed knowledge of gaming console software. This hands-on experience allowed me to explore my interest in electronics and tech repair. If I were to switch careers, I’d definitely focus on specializing in electronics repair and troubleshooting, specifically in mobile devices and gaming consoles, where I could continue to apply and expand these skills.
What destination is at the top of your travel list, and what inspires you to visit?
New York City has always been at the top of my travel list. My love for the city started with the classic Spider-Man movie, where I instantly fell for its energy and charm. That admiration only grew stronger when I played Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PlayStation 5, where the game brought the streets of New York to life in the most immersive way possible. One place I can’t wait to visit is Times Square. Known for its dazzling digital billboards and vibrant atmosphere, it’s one of the most iconic and bustling spots in New York City. The thought of experiencing all that energy firsthand excites me beyond words.

Words of Wisdom
I’ve learned that if you focus too much on obstacles, that’s all you’ll see. But when you focus on the path ahead, you start to see opportunities and solutions. It’s all about where you direct your attention, and I choose to focus on the way forward.
